From April 20–24, 2025, the Empowering Youth Workers in Sustainable Entrepreneurship training will bring together 14 youth workers from Belgium, Türkiye, and Luxembourg for an intensive program in Antwerp, led by the European Social Innovation Institute. The aim is to equip participants with practical tools and methods to teach green entrepreneurship to youth. Sessions will include expert-led training on sustainable business models, interactive case studies, and role-play scenarios to help participants mentor aspiring eco-entrepreneurs effectively.
This training also creates a collaborative platform for participants to share insights and data gathered from previous workshops in their regions. These contributions will feed into the development of a shared educational toolkit, designed to support youth entrepreneurship in sustainability. Participants will also explore successful local green businesses and learn how to translate those practices into their own communities, creating a ripple effect of environmental awareness and action.
Key outcomes include stronger networks among partner organizations, enhanced mentoring skills for youth workers, and the creation of a digital archive of best practices and learning resources. As a result, participants will return home as green ambassadors, ready to launch local initiatives and empower young people to build a more sustainable future.
